Founded in 2021 by Jon Zokaites (formerly Engberg) and Elizabeth Zokaites, EZ Heating & Cooling gets its name from our surname initials.

Backed by Jon's 10+ years of experience, we started the company to bring greater integrity and client-first service to Sioux Falls. Some unscrupulous businesses can take advantage of consumers' lack of knowledge about HVAC to sell early system replacements for the sake of high-tech upgrades and better profit margins.

In contrast, we believe in repair first.

Replacement of furnace or air conditioning units costs in the thousands if not tens of thousands of dollars. In this age of planned obsolescence and unnecessary early upgrades, we instead hold to a repair mindset: fix all that you can, until you can't, and only then replace.
